Control Lock Is Engaged

If the Control Lock feature is engaged, a lock icon appears on the control panel. Your JennAir refrigerator won’t dispense water or ice until Control Lock is turned off.

Problem With Refrigerator Water Filter

Dispenser Switch Failure
When your glass depresses the lever on the dispenser panel it activates the dispenser switch. This switch then signals the water inlet valve to open, allowing water to flow to the dispenser. If the switch fails, this signal won’t occur and the dispenser won’t have access to water.
If the dispenser switch shows a lack of continuity with multimeter testing, it must be replaced.
Defective Door Switch
To prevent leaks, the door switch automatically turns off the dispenser when the door is open. However, if the door switch is defective, the dispenser may remain off even if the door is closed. If the switch has no continuity with multimeter testing, it’s likely defective and requires replacement.
